Warriors - Retire 47

In 2020, the Golden State Warriors moved to a new arena in San Francisco
Leaving behind the city of Oakland, a place they called home for 47 seasons.

We decided to honor Oakland’s arena like we would any other sports icon.
By retiring its number of years, 47, as if it were a jersey.

The 47 banner will forever hang alongside retired-player banners
in the rafters of the Warriors’ new arena.
